Fluticasone – What are the indications and contraindications?

Indications:
- Prophylactic treatment of asthma
- Topically for inflammation
Contraindications:
- Status asthmaticus
- Acute bronchospasm
- Immune suppression
From a pharmacognosy perspective, Atropa belladonna Boswellia serrata, Datura stramonium, Ephedra sinica, Inula helenium, and Verbascum thapsus are useful in relaxing the bronchioles and decreasing inflammation associated with asthma.
