- Sore throat, redding purple throat abscess
- Circulatory complaints (varicose veins)
- CNS symptoms
- Dyspnea, sleep apnea with the feeling of being suffocated
Constitutionally for people who are loquacious, suspicious, aggressive, can’t stand constraints, have repressed anger causing them to lash out.
Key notes:
- Left-sided complaints
Modalities:
> emotional expression (particularly anger), discharge of any kind (menses), loose clothing
< heat, waking, touch
- For abscesses, dDx. Hepar-sulph (early stages, < cold), Phytolacca (especially breast, < cold), Silica (especially dental, < cold), Syphilinum (< summer)
- For venous congestion, dDx. Ledum (> cold applications)
- For symptoms better with loosened clothing dDx. Lycopodium (> passing gas), Nat-sulph (> changing position)
