Mill’s test – What is the purpose, indication and relevance?
December 31, 2020 8:07 amMill’s Test: Client is seated with their arm adducted and their elbow in 90° flexion. Practitioner palpates client’s lateral epicondyle while passively extending the elbow, pronating the forearm and extending the wrist.
Purpose:
- Assess for lateral epicondylitis
Indications:
- Pain in the elbow
Relevance:
- Positive test – pain at the lateral epicondyle
