Pantothenic acid – What are the indications and contraindications?
January 5, 2021 5:06 amPantothenic acid (vitamin B5) is found in organ meats, poultry, fish, dairy, nuts and legumes.
Indications:
- Cardiovascular disease (atherosclerosis, hyperlipidemia)
- Allergic rhinitis (with vitamin C)
- Adrenal insufficiency
- Dermatologic conditions (acne vulgaris, eczema, psoriasis)
Contraindications:
- None
