Interferential current (IFC) employs two crossed sine waves to produce muscle contractions. It is useful in treatment of joints, viscera and tissues with high water content, such as muscles

Indications:

  • Acute or chronic pain (especially visceral)
  • Deep or large joint problems

Contraindications:

  • Hypoesthesia
  • Malignant disease
  • Pacemaker
  • Transcoronary or transcerebral use
  • User over fracture, open wound, regional metal implants, pregnant uterus
